Dennis R. Williams is an advisor for Sperry Van Ness/R.M. Moore, LLC. specializing in the sale and leasing of investment grade industrial properties in the Knoxville and East Tennessee region. Williams entered real estate in 2001 and recently transferred from Wood Realtors where he was vice president of their commercial division. While there, he served as buyer’s representative and listing agent for the sale and lease of industrial, land and hospitality properties. He has an excellent record of working with outside brokers, investors and development agencies and routinely draws on these in promoting properties. He understands the need investors have to know the true return on their investments. As part of his services, Williams provides real estate financial analyses in support of his client’s decision making process.

Williams is licensed professional engineer, and prior to entering real estate, he was a successful consultant and practicing engineer for over 20 years in the private and government sectors. He was a department manager and senior engineer for the firm of S&ME, being responsible among other things, for personnel management and marketing. He was a project manager for IT Corporation, having responsibility for environmental projects for various federal agencies. Williams also served with the Army Corps of Engineers, where he provided engineering for major government installations throughout the U.S. During his career he has consistently sought innovated ways to exceed client expectations for sound and cost effective solutions.

Williams is a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), having completed the course work and is preparing for the final exam. He received his master’s of science in engineering from Ohio State University and his bachelor’s of science in engineering with honors from the University of Tennessee.
